Aelurillus monardi  (Lucas, 1846)

Description
Male

Resembles A. luctuosus. Prosoma with three narrow vertical lines above eyes of the first row. Less contrasting palpal patella and tibia. Legs yellow, femora with dorsal black longitudinal stripe. Opisthosoma grey-yellow with dark brown dorsum and white longitudinal median stripe.

Prosoma length: 2.7 mm, prosoma width: 1.9 mm.

Body length male: 4.2-4.8 mm
Female

Strongly resembles A. luctuosus.

Body length female: 6.4-6.8 mm

Distribution comment: Records from the Iberian Peninsula, Italy (mainland) and Sicily are probably misidentified (A. luctuosus), see Azarkina & Logunov (2006: 244) and Pantini & Isaia (2019). Not listed for the Iberian Peninsula by Cardoso & Morano (2010) and by Branco et al. (2019).
