Palp: basal apophysis small, prolaterally with a tooth. Prosoma with black margin and spots in eye region or predominantly bright. Prosoma 0.65-0.88 mm long. Legs not to distinctly annulated.
Body length male: 2.2-2.5 mmEpigyne with long scapus. Prosoma 0.8-1.1 mm long. Sternum yellowish, with faint darker blotches on the edges. Eyes: anterior row straight, posterior row procurved, PME triangular, interdistance AME-AME twice as AME-ALE.
Body length female: 2.2-2.5 mmIn garrigue, oak woods, heathlands, under stones, in buildings north of the Alps.
Since a few decades, this species shows some spreading tendencies within Europe. Nevertheless, it shall not be listed as alien or invasive because it is native for Europe.
