Description

Palp male: tibia apically with slender groove. Epigyne with median plate longer than wide. Prosoma dark brown, with black pattern. Sternum black-brown. Chelicerae light brown. Legs brown. Opisthosoma grey.

Body length male: 1.7-1.8 mm
Body length female: 1.8 mm
Additional information

in sphagnum moss bogs.

 

Figure of vulva (Fig. 4a) by Holm (1945) shows S. angulatus instead of S. lapponicus (Løvbrekke pers. comm., contra Platnick (2013))
