Bathyphantes gracilis  (Blackwall, 1841)

Description

Male palp with distally transversely truncated tegular apophysis. Epigyne strongly protruding, with short scapus, small median depression on anterior margin. Prosoma brown, mostly with darkened margin. Sternum black. Legs light yellow. Opisthosoma dorsally almost always with pattern consisting of dark transverse stripes on bright ground.

Body length male: 1.5-2 mm
Body length female: 1.9-2.5 mm

On low plants in humid terrain, in meadows and forests
