Beschreibung
Männchen

Färbung wie Weibchen.

Körperlänge Männchen: 5.4-8.8 mm
Weibchen

Prosoma, Sternum und Beine gelblich. Opisthosoma gleichmässig mit kleinen silbernen Pigmentflecken bedeckt, ausser Herzbereich und schmales Ventralband.

Körperlänge Weibchen: 8.6-12.3 mm

Diese Art wurde zuerst von Levi (1981) für Nordamerika nachgewiesen, später dann auch in Europa gefunden (Uhl et al. 1992). Sie könnte nordamerikanischen Ursprungs sein (nicht-einheimisch für Europa), könnte aber auch eine holarktische Verbreitung haben. Daher wird sie hier als kryptogen eingestuft.
