Male palp with projecting patellar apophysis. Epigyne only posteriorly with transverse folds. Prosoma with high contrast black eye field. Sternum slightly blackish. Opisthosoma slightly blackish.
Body length male: 1.18-1.5 mmProbably North- and Central American species originally, widely dispersed by wind drift (Antarctic (?), Azores). In Switzerland only in Tessin.
This species of North American origin is not native to Europe (alien species). It had been introduced to Europe at least once and did establish.
