Heliophanus auratus  C. L. Koch, 1835

Description

Male palp with 2 tibial apophyses. Bulbus with right-angled protrusion. Embolus long. Epigynal grooves touching each other median or merging, distinctly distant from posterior margin of epigyne. Prosoma black, shiny metallic, with a few white hairs. Legs light yellow to brown, with black longitudinal stripes. Opisthosoma black, shiny metallic, with a few white hairs.

Body length male: 3.6-4.95 mm
Body length female: 4.0-5.7 mm
Additional information

in low vegetation and on shrubbery, always near water, up to 2100 m in the Alps
