Tibial apophysis with U-shaped projecting branch, broadened and indented at tip. Copulatory opening (in contrast to the drawing by Wiehle) more slit-like than round. Prosoma yellow-red. Chelicerae dark. Legs yellowish. Opisthosoma grey-red, with light hairs.
Body length male: 3-4 mmon low vegetation in damp localities
Many records, especially outside the high mountains and at the river banks at the rivers coming from them, presumably belong to Clubiona frisia
