Talavera petrensis (C. L. Koch, 1837)
Description
Male
Palp male: with white haired basal part. Distal margin of palpal covered by row of white bristles. Embolus coiled.
Prosoma grey-brown, covered with white scales, eyes fringed with orange hairs. Sternum yellow.
Coxae light grey-yellow, femur brown and tarsi grey-yellow. Opisthosoma grey-brown, with chevrons. Spinnerets brown.
Female
Epigyne with long, spiral, strongly sclerotised margin.
Legs: femur brown, remaining segments yellow with brown rings.
Additional information
In heathland, grass steppes and dry forest areas, in the mountains under stones
