Colouration as in females.
Body length male: 2.3-2.4 mmProsoma yellowish white, with dark median band. Sternum and legs yellowish white. Opisthosoma woth chracteristic dorsal pattern, sides grey to black, venter light.
Body length female: 2.2-2.6 mmIn Scotland the species has been collected in gardens, old burial grounds, a public park, a botanical garden and in woodlands.
This species of North American origin is not native to Europe (alien species). It had been introduced to Europe at least once and did establish.
