Mendoza canestrinii  (Ninni, 1868)

Description
Male

Tibial apophysis short, distally with transverse end. Bulbus appearing flat in lateral view. Whole body dark brown, some white spots on prosoma and opisthosoma. Sternum black. Legs brown, trochanter and tarsi yellow. Anterior margin of opisthosoma with a narrow white band.

Body length male: 8 mm
Female

Epigyne flat, posterior margin triangularly protruding. Prosoma light brown, eye field darker. Sternum centrally yellow, marginally brown. Chelicerae orange. Legs yellowish brown, leg I somewhat darker. Opisthosoma: dorsum with 2 broad brown longitudinal stripes with golden shine and 4 pairs of square black spots, venter with 3 brown longitudinal streaks.

Body length female: 8.3-10.3 mm
