Xysticus chippewa  Gertsch, 1953

Description
Male

Retrolateral tibial apophysis broad, blunt. Ventral tibial apophysis oblique; Tegular apophyses close together. Embolus long, slender.

Prosoma greyish white with brown submedian stripes and margins, a pale area separates stripes from margin. Sternum yellow, suffused with brown. Legs yellowish. Opisthosoma creamy white, laterally spotted with brown, ventrally pale yellow, spotted with brown.

Body length male: 4.4 mm
Female

Colouration as in male. Vulva with short spermathecae.

Body length female: 3.6-4.4 mm
