Labulla thoracica  (Wider, 1834)

Description

Embolus very long, forming a large, ± circular loop with conductor. Epigyne with anteriorly stronger sclerotised copulatory openings. Prosoma yellowish-grey, with darkening on margin and around fovea. Head region stronger elevated in males than in females. Sternum black, slightly lighter in the middle. Chelicerae brown, robust. Legs yellow to light brown, very long, distinctly annulated. Opisthosoma highly elevated, conspicuously patterned, grey-yellow with white spots and dark dorsal pattern.

Body length male: 5.0-5.5 mm
Body length female: 5.0-7.5 mm

in dense woodland, mainly in low mountain ranges, also in hedges and wood piles
