Prosoma 1.2-2 mm long. Opisthosoma dark with white pattern, ventrally dark, with white median line and 2 indistinct lateral lines which merge anterior to spinnerets.
Body length male: 2.9-4.4 mmEpigyne: less bulging than in S. albomaculata, with 2 small grooves at its straight posterior margin. Prosoma 1.6-1.8 mm long.
Body length female: 4.1-5.9 mmUnder stones, in dry habitats with scarce vegetation, up to 2800 m.
