Cheiracanthium pennyi  O. Pickard-Cambridge, 1873

Description

Cymbium with spur, somewhat narrowed, with blunt tip. Tip of cymbium longer than 1/3 of cymbium length (without cymbial spur). Tibial apophysis with equally long branches. Bulbus with ± roundish shape in ventral view. Vulva with twisted entrance ducts, at tip of receptacula seminis. Prosoma length female: 3.0-3.8 mm, prosoma length male: 2.4-3.5 mm.

in herbaceous layer of open, dry and warm habitats; in phrygana and in a shady gorge (Chios, Greece)
