Cymbium dorsally strongly convex in lateral view, sporadically with dark bristles, proximal part dark, distally brownish. Tip short and with robust claw. Epigyne anchor-shaped. Prosoma reddish brown, white haired, lateral longitudinal bands narrow. Median longitudinal band ± parallel-sided. Prosoma length: 2.3-3.4 mm. Femur and tibia with distinct annulations. Opisthosoma red-brown, with yellow-red pattern. Spinnerets dark brown to black.
Body length male: 4.6-5 mmIn open areas and in forests up to subalpine region, one of the most frequent Pardosa-species in Europe.
