Prosoma dorsally orange to dark brown with light orange scale hairs, laterally with white hairs and black margin. Eyes black margined, haired light orange. Sternum dark brown, brighter medially, with long white hairs. Opisthosoma dorsally black with beige spots and chevrons.
Body length male: 3.0-3.7 mmOn gravel banks, on beaches, in dry meadows.
Note: After Logunov (2015) and Lecigne (2016) the female of N. membrosa shown by Metzner (1999) is a misidentified N. absheronica. The male shown by Metzner (1999) sub N. membrosa could also belong to N. absheronica (needs to be verified).
