Theridion hemerobium  Simon, 1914

Description
Male

Male palp with striking median apophysis. Conductor with terminal hook. Prosoma light yellow, with dark median stripe. Prosoma 1.1-1.8 mm long. Opisthosoma with whitish pattern, bordered with grey. Epigastric area markedly bulging.

Body length male: 2.4-3.9 mm
Female

Epigyne with very small central opening. Prosoma 1.1-2 mm long. Sternum yellowish white, darker on margin. Legs yellow white, with dark annulations. Characters as in male.

Body length female: 3.0-4.5 mm
Additional information

Usually near water: river banks, pond littorals, sides of lakes, bridges on rivers, marshes, also in pine or oak forests, gardens, among vegetation or stones.
