Body like in T. melanurum: opisthosoma dorsal with light, dentate line, bordered with black. Ventral side with a large white spot situated above spinnerets.
Clypeus bearing a pair of bulges.
Pedipalpus/bulbus: Distal margin of the tegulum oblique, basal part of the embolus quite flattened, wider than high (ratio 1:1.38) and sharply narrowed. Median part continuously bent, apically more clearly bent (better visible on the ventral view). Duct visible through the tegulum, forming a loop. Tip of conductor with denticles and hollow weakly marked.
Body length male: 2.8 mmOpisthosomal pattern like male. However, the black border of opisthosoma light dentate line more visible on the posterior part. Ventral like male. Spinnerets bordered by thick black line.
Sternum blackish except a brownish area behind the labium. Legs pale with very few dark marks.
Epigyne/vulva: Epigynal cavity wider than heigth (ratio 1:1.14), slightly flattened posteriorly, lateral margins distinctly sclerotized. Depression widest in the middle. Copulatory openings in a median position, not widely spaced, ovoïd and sclerotized at their inner margin. Copulatory ducts very long and densily coiled; receptacula seminis touching each one and with thick walls.
Body length female: 3.5 mmAmong all the species of the Theridion melanurum species-group, both sexes and especially the female present the most resemblances with T. mystaceum.
