Cheiracanthium ilicis  Morano & Bonal, 2016

Description
Male

Prosoma yellowish, ocular region darker. Immatures have a homogeneous pale green colour, changing to yellow reaching sexual maturity. Clypeus narrower than diameter of AME. Sternum triangular and orangish. Chelicerae dark brown-orange with small basal condyle on external surface. Palp as well as patellae and tarsi of legs completely spineless, femora with two pairs of lateral spines, metatarsi III/IV with three pairs of lateral spines, tibia I with 9-11 ventral spines. Palp: Tarsus longer than patella and tibia together.

Body length male: 9.4 mm
Female

Appearance and colouration similar to male, but tending larger and with shorter legs. Eyes slightly larger than in males. Female palp with a simple straight claw. Variability in spination pattern greater than in males.

Body length female: 8.8-9.7 mm
Additional information

Obligate tree dweller, prefers the tree canopy.
