Trichoncus hackmani  Millidge, 1955

Description
Male

Prosoma orange-brown to dark brown. Male: clypeus protruding. Legs brown to yellow-brown, tibia. Tibia I and II brownish or with black tinge. Opisthosoma black.

Body length male: 1.8-2.1 mm
Female

Epigyne with semicircular posterior margin. Length of epigynal plate smaller than two times its width. Vulva: receptaculum thick-walled. Colouration as in males.

Body length female: 1.8-2.4 mm
Additional information

On Sea shore amongst stones and stranded goods.

 

Please note that the vulva shown in Wiehle, 1960a: 319, f. 583 does probably not belong to T. hackmani (Wunderlich, 2011c: 305; Løvbrekke, pers. comm.) and therefore has been removed.
