Cyrba ocellata  (Kroneberg, 1875)

Description
Male

Prosoma brown, eyes surrounded with black, prosoma length: 2.2 mm. Chelicerae light brown. Leg I light brown, legs II-IV yellowish orange, femora darker. Opisthosoma: dorsum anteriorly yellowish grey, posteriorly darker, near spinnerets almost black with white patch, venter yellowish.

Female

Prosoma length: 2.4 mm. Colouration as in males, opisthosoma slightly lighter.

Additional information

Araneophagic species which invades the webs of web-building spiders, kills them and feeds on them.
