Thanatus formicinus  (Clerck, 1757)

Description

Tibial apophysis situated retrolaterally, with broad triangular base. Epigyne with round, sclerotised copulatory opening. Prosoma light brown to light reddish brown. Legs light brown, to light reddish brown. Opisthosoma light brown to light reddish brown.

Body length male: 5.2-7.4 mm
Body length female: 6.9-12 mm

In dry and semi-dry meadows and xerothermic forest steppes
