Afraflacilla tamaricis  (Simon, 1885)

Description
Male

Prosoma brown, eye field blackish, prosoma length: 1.70 mm. Leg I robust, tibia I swollen, legs II-IV yellow. Opisthsoma with blackish median streak with 4 transverse branches.

Female

Prosoma brown, covered with white hairs, eye field with central spot and black edges, sides yellow, prosoma length: 1.82 mm. Opisthosoma: dorsum with a pattern of yellow stripes and a black spot in posterior half.

Distribution comment: Schenkel (1938) published Pseudicius badius from Spain, Machado corrected it to P. tamaricis. Cardoso & Morano (2010) listed the latter name for Spain and Portugal, but is evaluated as doubtful (Carrillo in litt.). See also salticidae.org.
