Phrurolithus festivus  (C. L. Koch, 1835)

Description

Male palp with only one distal bulbal apophysis that overtops embolus. Tibial apophysis with asymmetric tip. Epigyne with deep median opening. Prosoma orange to dark brown. Femur I-II annulated with black. Opisthosoma orange-brown to dark brown with bright spots on dark ground.

Body length male: 2.2-2.9 mm
Body length female: 2.4-3.2 mm
Additional information

In dry habitats (dry meadows, heathland, vineyards), in sunny forests and on water banks, up to 1350 m
