Prosoma 0.85-1.9 mm long. Chelicerae as in E. thoracica: one large tooth with denticles at its base, and one smaller tooth.
Body length male: 1.8-3.8 mmEpigyne not strongly sclerotized, median part flat and trapezoid. Prosoma 1-1.6 mm long. Colouration as in E. thoracica, usually with opisthosomal spots, but sometimes uniformly coloured.
Body length female: 2.2-4.1 mmUsually in dry habitats, sand dunes, maquis, pine forests, stony hillsides, dry shrubs, also in chestnut woods, grasslands and marshes.
