Evarcha falcata  (Clerck, 1757)

Description

Tibial apophysis long. Bulbus ± round. Embolus with strongly sclerotised margins and transparent membrane in between. Epigyne with ± triangular epigynal plate, narrowed at epigastric furrow. Prosoma black-brown, eye region shiny metallic. Female: densely covered with brown hairs, yellowish white laterally. Male: with 2 white stripes, posterior part with brown hairs that form an arc-like pattern. Legs light brown. Opisthosoma female: with brown spot, black margined, laterally yellowish white. Male: laterally with white band, brown haired with black spots.

Body length female: 5.0-7.7 mm
