Mermessus denticulatus  (Banks, 1898)

Description

Tibial apophysis pointed. Epigyne with caudally protruding median plate. Prosoma orange-brown, sometimes darker anteriorly. Sternum orange-brown. Legs brown, to orange-brown. Opisthosoma grey-black, sometimes pale.

Body length male: 1.9-2.5 mm
Body length female: 2.8-3.3 mm
Additional information

Probably brought to Europe from North America together with ornamental plants at the end of the eighties

This species of North American origin is not native to Europe (alien species). It had been introduced to Europe at least once and did establish.
