Legs black, with bright hairs. Opisthosoma females and juvenile males: black with 2 longish, white spots, sometimes formed like 2 parallel lines. Male: red with longish, black stripe, ending pointed, with white margin.
Body length male: 5.4-9.5 mmOn rocks, sandy dry slopes and on trees, in Central Europe only at very warm places.
