Zelotes electus  (C. L. Koch, 1839)

Description

Male palp with weakly pronounced keel. Embolus short and robust. Epigyne with lateral protrusion of posterior cuticular bar overlapping median protrusion posteriorly. Prosoma yellow-brown to light orange, with dark margin. Legs distally black-brown. Opisthosoma with dark brown scuticula, yellow brown to light orange.

Body length male: 3-5 mm
Body length female: 3.2-5.6 mm
Additional information

In xerothermic habitats like steppes, dry meadows and dunes, under stones and in litter layer
