Xysticus thessalicus  Simon, 1916

Description
Male

Prosoma with cephalic band which has a triangular form with its peak placed posterior and with the two side lines rectilinear towards the eyes. Clypeus with 7 long spines. Chelicerae brown with yellowish pattern. Opisthosoma oval, yellowish pattern with brown spots, sides dark brown, yellowish band around spinnerets.

Body length male: 3.5 mm
Female

Anterior median eyes separated by same distance as posterior median eyes. Posterior median eyes smallest. Anterior lateral eyes largest. Triangular, yellowish cephalic band, on dark brown ground. Opisthosoma pale grey, posteriorly rounded, angled anteriorly. Sternum yellowish with brown spots and with large brownish peripheral band.
