Cyrba algerina (Lucas, 1846)

Description
Male

Prosoma dorsally light brown with dark border, orange hairs, head plate dark brown. Eye field black, medially with long dark fovea. Opisthosoma narrow, dorsally with orange-brown hairs, posteriorly dark with w-shaped design of white hairs, posterior large white hairy spot. Palp: patella and tibia yellow-brown, tibia and cymbium with black. Apophysis bifid.

Body length male: 3.5-4.9 mm
Female

Prosoma dorsally orang with red-brown border, head region darker. Eye field black, medially with long red-brown fovea. Opisthosoma dorsally with light grey hairs, design indistinct, chevron-like. Epigyne anchor-shaped sclerotized.

Body length female: 4.2-6.7 mm
Additional information

Araneophagic species which invades the webs of web-building spiders, kills them and feeds on them (Jackson, 2000).
