Prosoma dorsally brown with black hairs, sides sandy with black margins, in lower half with white hairs. Opisthosoma sandy, with dorsal white median band which is widened T-like in the posterior third. Palp: sandy, with white and yellow hairs, cymbium widened.Body length male: 6.85-9.1 mm
Opisthosoma beige, with dorsal brown hairs, white equatorial band and white median stripe which is extended by two spots in the posterior third. Epigyneal plate medially depressed, openings slit-shaped.Body length female: 8.7-11.9 mm

This species of African origin is not native to Europe (alien species). It had been introduced to Europe at least once and did establish.
