Sibianor larae  Logunov, 2001


Prosoma red to orange, occular area brown, black around eyes, margin with white band of scales. Sternum brownish, tinged with yellow. Chelicerae brown. Opisthosoma grey, with dorsal scutum covering almost the entire surface of dorsum. Spinnerets grey. Leg I: femur swollen, dark brown, patella reddish, tibia swollen, red, distal end dark brown, metatarsus yellow, tarsus brownish. Femur, Patella und Tibia I with rows of scale-like black bristles. Leg II: femur brownish, patella and tibia orange, metatarsus and tarsus yellow. Leg III-IV yellow to orange, femora sometimes darker.

Body length male: 3.2 - 3.7 mm

Colouration as in males except: dorsal scutum absent and legs II-IV completely yellow.

Body length female: 3.6 - 4.1 mm
Additional information

In heathland and nutrient-poor grassland, also in damp localities.
