Janetschekia monodon (O. Pickard-Cambridge, 1873)
Description
Prosoma shiny brown-black with blackish pattern. Sternum and chelicerae brownish yellow, sometimes darkened. Legs brownish yellow, sometimes darkened. Opisthosoma blackish, lung-covers yellowish.
Body length male: 1.5 mmBody length female: 1.8 mm
Additional information
in glacier forefields of the Alps in rocky debris areas with poor vegetation, gravely river banks, also directly on border of glacier, 250-3400m; also on gravel roofs (Komposch, 2004).
