Centromerus brevipalpus (Menge, 1866)
Description
Male
Male palp with large, sickle-shaped basal apophysis. Paracymbium with wavy edge on median part. Prosoma yellowish-brown, bright with slender, black margin. Sternum yellow-brown, darkened blackish. Chelicerae yellowish. Legs yellowish-brown, robust. Opisthosoma dark grey, sometimes brighter ventrally.
Body length male: 1.4-2.2 mmFemale
Scapus posteriorly tripartite. Prosoma length: 0.61-0.64 mm.
Body length female: 1.4-3 mmAdditional information
In the litter layer of humid deciduous and coniferous forests
