Oreonetides vaginatus (Thorell, 1872)
Description
Male palp with large, bipartite lamella. Paracymbium complex. Epigyne with ± rectangular epigynal plate, longer than wide. Scapus short. Prosoma yellow-brown, tinged with black, margin darker. Sternum yellow-brown, tinged with black, with narrow, dark margin. Chelicerae brown, stout. Legs yellow-brown, stout. Opisthosoma grey, often with brighter longitudinal stripes.
Body length male: 3-3.5 mmBody length female: 3-3.8 mm
Additional information
in submountainous and mountainous forests, up to timberline, only in the mountains in Central Europe
