Description
Male
Prosoma grey-brown, rarely with narrow, dark margin. Sternum unicoloured yellowish brown. Chelicerae unicoloured yellowish brown.
Dorsal tooth ± as long as width at its base. Legs yellow-brown. Opisthosoma dark brown, dorsally with dark folium with golden or shiny silver median stripe and silver lateral bands, ventrally with bright spots near spinnerets, rarely completely bright.
Body length male: 8-10 mmFemale
Epigynal plate ± as long as wide. Vulva with small and club-shaped receptaculum seminis.
Body length female: 9-12 mmAdditional information
Frequent on shores of large still water, always on water side of reeds, mostly underneath leaves there
