Salticus scenicus (Clerck, 1757)
Description
Tibial apophysis ending pointed. Embolus with conical tip. Vulva with strikingly egg-like widened receptaculum seminis in posterior part. Prosoma black, shiny metallic, with 2 pairs of white spots. Opisthosoma black, shiny metallic, anterior margin white, dorsally 2 white stripes running toward the middle.
Body length male: 4.0-7.0 mmBody length female: 5.5-7.5 mm
Additional information
On sunny walls and rocks, rarely on bark
