Alopecosa psammophila Buchar, 2001

Description

Prosoma red-brown, with slightly brighter marginal stripe and distinct median stripe. Male: with white, lyra-shaped spot, eye field black. Prosoma length female: 4.1-5.1 mm, prosoma length male: 4.3-4.5 mm. Sternum dark brown. Chelicerae black-brown. Legs light brown, with light yellow coxae. Femur grey-blackish, dorsally with black longitudinal spots. Opisthosoma light grey with vague pattern, ventrally light grey. Male: dorsally with 2 black longitudinal stripes.

Body length male: 8-8.5 mm
Body length female: 7.7-10.5 mm
Additional information

In steppe, sand dunes. Genital morphology very similar to P. kalavrita
