Thanatus pictus  L. Koch, 1881

Description

Ventral tibial apophysis large. Epigyne with narrow lateral pockets, anterior part of epigyne conspicuous. Prosoma yellowish-brown. Legs yellowish-brown. Opisthosoma grey-brown with pattern.

Body length male: 4.1-5.9 mm
Body length female: 4.7-8.1 mm
Additional information

in heathlands and steppes, in Festuca and Bromus meadows or in phrygana (Chios, Greece), overwinters as juvenile
