Prosoma dark brown, one black stripe in the range of fovea, one median and lateral stripe. Posterior prosoma region sometimes brighter. Sternum dark brown. Chelicerae dark brown. Legs red-brown, sometimes with dark longitudinal stripes, I and II with robust spines. Metatarsus and tarsus with scopulae. Opisthosoma dorsally grey, median stripe brown, little pronounced, with black margin, laterally yellowish, ventrally rust-brown.
Body length male: 15-18 mmin the range of high alpine block fields, where they build retreat tubes under stones. Endemic species of the Maritime Alps, above 2300 m
