Psammitis sabulosa (Hahn, 1832)
Description
Male
Male palp with completely flat tegulum. Cymbium asymmetrically widened middle part of retrolateral side. Tibial apophysis bipartite, ventral apophysis slender, hook-like bent. Retrolateral apophysis massive, broad and short. Embolus short, surface scaled, terminal part slightly bent retrolaterally. Prosoma densely provided with short spines, white-pink, dorsally with dark lateral bands. Eye-field partly white, dark brown moon-shaped structures including a bright field. Sternum cream to white, partly yellow-brown on margin. Chelicerae white, sometimes only proximally white, spined frontally. Legs white-pink, spotted, legs I-II with vague stripes. Opisthosoma densely provided with short spines, combination of white, grey, olive-brown and sand-brown parts, with black, small spots with white margin in posterior part and/or on margin. Medially with broken, black transverse band or white-grey longitudinal band, partly with oak-leaf pattern.

Epigyne without epigynal groove. Posterior edge sclerotised and semicircularly bent. Vulva consists of 2 longish oval, slightly transverse, sac-like structures.
