Prosoma 1.1 mm long. Characters as in female.
Body length male: 2.8 mmEpigyne with rounded cavity, slightly wider than long, with the edges hardly sclerotized. Prosoma light brownish, with a black borderline and a median longitudinal blackish band. Prosoma 1.2-1.3 mm long. Sternum dark brown, lighter in the middle. Eyes: median ocular quadrangle much narrower in front than behind. Legs yellowish with dark annulations, as in E. angulatus. Opisthosoma greyish with numerous black spots, folium indistinct, ventrally with some whitish spots. Opisthosoma oval, rounded behind, without tubercles.
Body length female: 3.1-3.6 mmIn coniferous and beech forests, meadows and under stones. Altitude 800-1400 m.
