Pardosa pyrenaica  Kronestedt, 2007

Description
Male

Prosoma dark brown, with black striae, median band and lateral stripes yellowish brown. Ocular area black. Clypeus yellowish brown. Chelicerae brownish with darker longitudinal stripes. Sternum dark brown with lighter median spot in anterior part. Legs yellowish brown, femora proximally darker. Legs I and II: Ventral part of Tibia (distalmost part only), metatarsus and tarsus densely covered with scopulate hairs. Opisthosoma: dorsum dark brown, with brown lanceolate stripe and indistinct pattern of symmetric spots/bars (description after Kronestedt, 2007).

Body length male: 4.7 mm
Female

Colouration of prosoma and opisthosoma as in males. Legs yellowish brown, femur with slightly darker pseudoannulations. Scopulate less developed than in males (description after Kronestedt, 2007).

Body length female: 5.5 mm
Additional information

Habitat: open grasslands at higher altitudes in the Pyrenees.
