Agelescape livida  (Simon, 1875)

Description
Male

Palpus: Patella with pointed apophysis and tibia with slightly elongated, mesally furrowed apophysis. Fine embolus issues at middle of bulb and runs inside groove of slender conductor, conductor tapers to blackish tip, lamellar projection curves against strong apically ridged tegular process. The fine elongated embolus with the gutter-like pointed conductor, the ridged tegular process and the shape of the tibial and patellar apophyses of the male palpus are characters shared with A. affinis but the form of the female epigynum and the large, broad scape, is a definite diagnostic character of A. livida.

prosoma length: 3.5 mm, prosoma width: 2.3 mm.

Female

Epigynum: Nearly transparent, brownish, wide scape extends over greater part of central depression. Inner spermathecae are usually covered by brown, hard secretion distorting contours of upper portions of tubes, tubes can be best seen in newly moulted specimens.
