Male palp with short upper branch of tegular apophysis. Shield with distally bent lamella in lateral view. Epigyne with septum, reaching underneath anterior epigynal pockets. Prosoma red-brown, median longitudinal band missing, lateral longitudinal bands vague, broken into spots. Legs reddish. Femur dark, annulated dorsally. Male: femur I black, yellow striped dorsally, femur II dorsally yellow-brown and black, femur III and IV annulated dorsally. Tibia I male: almost black. Opisthosoma blackish with brick red pattern.
Body length male: 5 mmin meadows and damp localities, in the Alp often around 1500 m, in low mountain ranges over about 700 m
