Alopecosa aculeata (Clerck, 1757)
Description
Epigyne anteriorly with parallel margins of median part. Prosoma reddish, with reddish yellow median stripes, lateral longitudinal stripes vague or missing. Prosoma length female: 4.0-5.0 mm, prosoma length male: 3.8-5.0 mm. Sternum brown, rarely with brighter median part. Legs reddish. Femur spotted or annulated. Opisthosoma with bright pattern, sometimes with fine chevrons.
Body length male: 7.2-9.5 mmBody length female: 8.1-11.3 mm
Additional information
In moss and litter layer of damp but sunny forests, in lowland in North Europe, otherwise in the mountains up to timberline
