Gleicht E. tirolensis. Dorsale Tibialapophyse lamellenförmig, Lamelle unterbrochen. Patellarapophyse nicht gedreht, kürzer als Patella. Femur des Palpus stark verdreht nahe der Basis und mit 3-4 Stacheln auf der oberen Hälfte, Palpenapophyse fast halb so lang wie Palpus.

Resembles E. tirolensis. Dorsal tibial apophysis lamella-shaped, lamella broken. Patellar apophysis not turned, shorter than patella. Palpal femur strongly turned near the base, palpal apophysis almost 2 times shorter than palp, upper half of femur with 3-4 spines.

Gleicht E. psychrophila. Epigyne schwach sklerotisiert, bedeckt von vielen kleinen Runzeln. Rezeptakel divergierend, oberer Rand befindet sich direkt über den Rezeptakeln.

Gefunden in Südnorwegen und auf den Färöer-Inseln (J. Lissner, pers. comm.), könnte auch im restlichen Fennoskandinavien vorkommen.
