Arctosa personata  (L. Koch, 1872)


Epigyne with groove, wider anteriorly than posteriorly, margins of median bar merging with margin of anterior epigynal pocket. Prosoma reddish, bright median band broad anteriorly, narrow and serrated posteriorly, lateral bands striking. Prosoma length female: 3.8-4.7 mm, prosoma length male: 3.8-4.8 mm. Chelicerae with 3 teeth on cheliceral furrow margin. Legs yellow-reddish, annulated in males. Metatarsus I-II with short spines, spines on tibia I reduced or missing. Opisthosoma yellowish green, narrow median stripe arrow-shaped, flanked by a bright, longish spot on each side.

Body length female: 9-12.4 mm
Additional information

Prefers warm conditions, under stones, in dry habitats in medium altitudes
